Runescape Wealth

Well, you can't master the game of runescape if you don't have any money in your bank! Wealth in runescape doesn't take as much effort as it does in other games, although you might need to have high skill levels if you want even more money.

Selling materials while skillbuilding
This is my favorite method in order to gain money. Just like the cutting logs and banking as mentioned before, this process will improve your skills while giving you money. Many players will need materials such as logs, ores, fish, etc in order to improve secondary skills such as firemaking, smithing, and cooking. This method is simple. You just do what you're supposed to do (cut, fish, mine) and after your inventory is full, you bank the materials. Then, after you are satisfied with your total amount, you sell your materials and bring in tons of moolah.

Fish are friends, not food
Personally, fishing is one of my favorite skills. You earn experience towards a valuable skill that you will use throughout the game, and their's a bonus. While fishing, you will usually not find yourself alone, but rather with tons of other players. While fishing, you can talk to the other players for your amusement, therefore making fishing fun and enjoyable. Just like before, bank your items after your inventory is full.

Secondary skills such as smithing and cooking are very handy as you can make even bigger money then just by selling the raw materials. Even though stuff such as shrimp, bronze bars, etc don't sell for much when you first sell them, you can build up your skills so that you will be able to make shark, adamantite bars, etc. And trust me, shark and other biggies can sell for TONS of money.

Players > Shops
Please note that Jagex has defaulted the shops to meet real world economic standards. And when I say that I mean less supply means high price, more supply means low price. But remember that if you are selling or buying from a player, the price is consistent and will never change. Therefore, when you are selling items and such, I suggest that you sell to a player rather than a shop. Also note to never sell at a general store.

Interview Room
Jobs are an easy way to make sure you have a money making goal. Jobs include mining for ores, fishing for fish, etc. Therefore you will always have something to look forward to when you play runescape. Once you have completed your job, your reputation in runescape will increase and your money will continue to pile up.
